An interactive constellation of white monochromes that plays with art historical paradigms as well as the public’s relation to images today. It tackles our everyday habit of fast image consumption, teasing the spectator’s inner child in order to engage them physically and virtually in the discovery of the content of the artwork.

Behind the white monochromes hides an unknown world with magical creatures who go about their life. Every audience member who dares to interact with the art piece gets to take home their original photographs on their phone.

Noitibihoc is more than just an invented word: it is an invitation to overturn inhibition, to dare to play. Together with Clio Van Aerde, we created this participatory exhibition which offered workshops, playful spaces, and performances for both young and old. It is about rediscovering creative joy, freeing oneself from restraint, and embracing the spontaneous drive to experiment.
